Davy Klaassen is set to end his time at Everton with a move to Werder Bremen imminent, according to the Liverpool Echo.
The midfielder has been given permission to miss the friendly with Blackburn Rovers to discuss terms with the Bundesliga side, with the Dutchman set to leave Everton after only one season.
Klaassen joined Everton last season from Ajax in a deal worth over £23 million. The Dutchman failed to make an impact during his first season at the Toffees, only making sixteen appearances for the Blues.

Bremen are lining up a four year deal for Klaassen, with the German side keen to bring the midfielder to the Bundesliga.
The fee for the deal is not yet known. However, it is expected to surpass the €8.2 million that Bremen paid for Marko Marin in 2009.
Klaassen came close to leaving Goodison Park on loan in January. However, a deal with Napoli collapsed before the deadline.
