The agent of Juventus midfielder Stefano Sturaro has revealed that it will be very hard for Premier League side Everton to secure his signature in the January transfer window as the Italian Serie A club are not willing to sell him half-way through the season, according to a report on Sport Witness.
The 24-year-old midfielder has been closely watched by the Merseyside club, who are reportedly ready to make a move for him in January.

However, the Turin club are reluctant to open negotiations to sell the midfielder because they feel that he may still have a part to play for the club before the summer.
Everton are joined by fellow Premier League club Newcastle United in the hunt for Sturaro, who also has interest from the Spanish La Liga through Valencia.
The midfielder’s current contract deal with Juventus expires in 2021 and has seen himself as a bench player on most occasions.
Sturaro’s chances of establishing himself in Juve’s starting line-up are rather slim due to the competition he faces in Turin. Sami Khedira, Miralem Pjanic, Blaise Matuidi and Claudio Marchisio are all vying for a central midfield position, meaning that Sturaro nearly always misses out on starting matches for the club.
The promise of first-team football at Goodison Park could lure the player to England, but the Toffees may have to wait until the summer.
