Everton loanee Jonjoe Kenny has heaped praise on Celtic manager Neil Lennon for his personal impact in helping him to settle and improve his game at Parkhead.
The 23-year-old made a loan switch to the Glasgow giants on transfer deadline day two weeks ago after previous interest from Premier League side Burnley over a permanent deal collapsed.
Replacing the departing Jeremie Frimpong, Kenny’s like-for-like arrival at Celtic appears to be a move relished by the Everton academy product.
The 23-year-old has featured in four Scottish Premiership games already and has emphasised Lennon’s role in helping him adjust in an interview with Celtic TV, saying :
I’m loving every moment of my time here.
I’ve come here to play football with a great set of lads and the manager’s been brilliant for me. I’m enjoying every moment of my football here.
Having won all of their last four games, aided in part by Kenny’s exploits, Celtic and Everton fans alike must be delighted to see the young full-back making an instant impact in his loan spell in Glasgow.

Whilst recent success in an otherwise-testing season for Celtic cannot solely be attributed to Kenny, he clearly appears enthused and settled in Glasgow.
If Celtic continue to see him as a positive and shrewd acquisition, his stint could place him front-and-centre in the shop window for a potential sale if Everton have no intention to keep him at Goodison Park in the long-term.
Celtic’s gain throughout his loan spell could also benefit the Toffees further down the line.
