Phil Jagielka has identified Seamus Coleman as future Everton captain, according to the Liverpool Echo.
The 33-year-old skipper, who has had the armband at Goodison Park since 2013, believe Coleman has what it takes to be captain of the Blues.

His mannerisms on and off the pitch are fantastic.
We don’t have that many vocal lads at Everton but Seamus is a great professional, plays with his heart, loves playing for the club, he’d be top of the next breed to come through.
Jagielka also mentioned his central defensive partner John Stones as a future Everton skipper but believes Coleman is the best candidate at this moment in time.
“People talk about John as well because of his position and natural coolness, so it would be between them two.
But at the top of that at the moment would be Seamus with his extra little bit of experience and the extra use of his voice.”
Jagielka’s recent return from injury has given Everton some much-needed defensive solidity, in the seven games the Blues have played with Jagielka at the back since his recovery from a major knee injury, they have kept five clean sheets.
The England international’s presence in the Everton line-up has been pivotal to Everton’s recent upturn in form and he will be hoping that his influence will help his side beat West Bromwich Albion, who travel to Goodison Park on Saturday.
