Mason Holgate could leave Everton permanently this summer in an £8 million deal, with Bournemouth, Burnley and Sheffield United all keen.
According to a report from the Daily Mail, a number of clubs are interested in signing the player before the summer window closes and he now has a decision to make.
The defender could still leave on loan, so what route will he choose at a potential crossroads in his career?

Holgate spent the second half of last season on loan at West Brom and his time there highlights how he has become the victim of his own success.
Able to play across the back four, Holgate did exactly that at West Brom and it raises the question of where does he see himself having a future at Everton?
Holgate played the majority of his football last season at right-back, while he also featured as a centre-back, a left-back and in more advanced wide positions.
Everton require a long-term replacement for Seamus Coleman and the imminent signing of Djibril Sidibe, coupled with the lack of football for himself suggests he may not break into the team as a full back.
Marco Silva’s men are also searching for a new central defender this summer, but still Holgate is being linked with moves away.
With that, it looks increasingly likely that his best move would be to find a permanent home where he can nail down one position for the sake of his long-term future.
