The versatile forward’s future with the Toffees remains unclear after the youngster refused a work permit to apply his trade in England.

Onyekuru has been rumoured with a permanent move away from Goodison Park, with former club Paris Saint-Germain, German giants Bayern Munich and French side Marseille all showing interest in the Nigerian international.

The starlet originally cost the club £7 million, however, with various wide options including Theo Walcott, Ademola Lookman and Richarlison, Everton officials may well decide to cash in on the forward when the window opens in January.
