Henry Onyekuru was the subject of an approach from Valencia, according to the player himself.
The 21-year-old is on loan at Galatasary, but this apparently did little to deter the advances of the La Liga outfit.
Spending the 2017-18 season on loan at Anderlecht, the forward impressed in a role-playing capacity, scoring nine times in eighteen appearances for the Belgian club.

Moving to Turkey for the upcoming season, it has become apparent that the move wasn’t the Nigerian’s only option, it seems.
Onyekuru told Turkish outlet Fotomac:
It is true that Valencia is interested in me, I liked this fact, but now I am a player of Galatasaray and I do not think this deal can take place.
With two caps for the Nigerian national team, Onyekuru is a much-fancied youngster amongst the prodigies at Everton.
New Toffees boss Marco Silva will be hoping the prospect can receive regular playing time in Istanbul, so as to aid the development of his versatile attacker – but it seems he will need to be wary of advances from vying suitors.
