Everton youngster Brendan Galloway is to be given an improved contract according to ESPN.
It is believed that due to his start against Manchester United, a clause in his previous contract which required him to be offered a new deal once he had started 10 Premier League matches, was activated.
He has provided impressive cover at left-back for the injured Leighton Baines, with many Everton fans viewing him as a star of the future.
The 19-year-old signed for Everton from Championship side MK Dons in August 2014, having impressed while playing for the Dons. He made 17 appearances before his move to Merseyside, and got himself a solitary goal.
The Zimbabwean born starlet, who is primarily a centre-back, has flourished for the Blues so far and there has been reported interest from Manchester United.
With Everton, Galloway has made a total of 11 appearances, and is yet to get a senior goal. He picked up his first Premier League assist in the 3-1 victory over current champions Chelsea back in September.
