Galatasary remain hopeful of Niasse deal

Everton may have a fight on their hands to keep Oumar Niasse, with the forward reportedly coveted by Turkish giants Galatasary.

BeIN Sports Turkey report that the club still harbour interest in the 28-year-old, who joined Everton in 2016.

Signing from Lokomotiv Moscow in January of 2016, the Toffees coughed up a fee of £13.5 million for the Senegalese international.

A difficult start to his Everton career saw Niasse demoted to the U23s in his second season, eventually securing a loan move to Hull City.

The 2017-18 campaign brought happier times for the striker however, as Niasse made 25 appearances in all competitions, scoring nine goals.

However, with just two substitute appearances in the Premier League this season under new boss Marco Silva, Everton may choose to cash in on Niasse.

Sport Witness claim that Niasse isn’t Galatasary’s only target though, with the Istanbul outfit also monitoring Watford’s Stefano Okaka and Mame Biram Diouf of Stoke.
