Gabbiadini’s representatives are due in Liverpool to meet with Everton officials this week, according to reports in Italy.
The Toffees looked likely to sign Deportivo’s Lucas Perez this week but Arsenal have entered the race and look likely to steal the Spaniard away from the Merseysiders.

Everton had been previously linked with a move for the Italian forward but interest in Perez meant that a deal had cooled but since the deal for the Deportivo striker fell through, it looks as though the Blues have rekindled their interest.
The Toffees will face competition for Gabbiadini’s signature with West Brom, West Ham and Fiorentina all looking to sign the Italian. Though, Everton could have a head start with the player’s representatives already looking to open talks with the club in a deal that could be worth £20million.
Gabbiadini has scored 20 goals in 60 appearances for Napoli but has failed to replicate the form that earned him a place in the Italy squad at Sampdoria.
