Fulham are reportedly interested in a deal to sign Everton midfielder James McCarthy in January.
Bleacher Report’s Dean Jones claims that ‘checks’ have been made regarding the Everton man, with Claudio Ranieri looking to strengthen in January.
McCarthy could well be moved on during the January window, having fallen out of favour at the club.

The midfielder has long been linked with a move away from Goodison Park, with Newcastle previously keen to sign the player.
The Irishman is yet to feature for Everton this season and is unlikely to break into Marco Silva’s plans anytime soon.
With the player facing a bleak future at the club, he could push for a January exit in order to get some regular minutes under his belt.
Regardless of his recent injuries, McCarthy would provide Premier League experience to a struggling Fulham side, who are battling to avoid an immediate return to the Championship.
