Everton fans have been heaping praise on former keeper Joel Robles after a social media post shared his statistics at the club.
The Spanish keeper began his career with Atletico Madrid, progressing through the various youth sides before making two appearances in La Liga for the first team.
A loan move with Wigan Athletic would see him enhance his reputation in England, and he would eventually make a permanent switch to Everton in the summer of 2013.
Spending five seasons on Merseyside, Robles struggled to hold down a first-team place, making no more than 20 league appearances in a single season.
Leaving Everton in 2018, Robles moved back to his homeland with Real Betis, and he would become first choice keeper following the exit of Pau Lopez to AS Roma last summer.
Remembering his time with Everton, Twitter account The Toffee Blues asked fans what they made of the keeper’s time at the club.
Reacting to the tweet, these Everton fans have been discussing his efforts at the club.
