Reported long-term Everton target Dele Alli has been confirmed as unhappy and unsettled at Jose Mourinho’s Tottenham Hotspur by transfer specialist Fabrizio Romano.
However, whilst the Italian journalist confirmed Alli’s unhappiness at present, he also revealed there has been no formal approaches from any suitors amid heavy links to PSG or a Goodison Park loan.
Since moving from MK Dons in 2015, the midfielder has been a regular for Spurs for some time. He has racked up 223 appearances for the north London outfit, with 64 goals and 56 assists along the way (Transfermarkt).
However, the 24-year-old has had just 74 minutes of Premier League football this season and looks to be on his way out of north London, at least on a temporary basis.
According to Romano, speaking on a recent episode of his Here We Go podcast, there have been no formal negotiations opened between Carlo Ancelotti’s side and Spurs for a deal regarding Alli. The transfer guru outlined:
The main thing is [Spurs chairman] Daniel Levy. Because Daniel Levy doesn’t want to sell players or loan out players with small value, he wants the full price.
So, if some clubs will arrive, and we will see what Paris Saint-Germain decide. At the moment there is nothing advanced, but we will see because Dele wants to play.
Dele wants his space, and he’s not playing, he’s not happy with the situation.
So, in the next days, we’ll have a clear situation about Dele Alli. But, I want to tell you something more about Everton, [there have been] some rumours – I have no information about Everton working to sign Dele Alli.

Alli may not yet be a priority for Ancelotti’s recruitment plans. Everton boast a well-stocked midfield with the likes of Abdoulaye Doucoure, Allan, Andre Gomes, Tom Davies and more.
It would be hard to see a deal for Alli completed without first moving on one or two current options out of the club.
