Everton are attempting to sign Barcelona starlet Munir in the January transfer window but their efforts have so far been rebuffed, according to Mundo Deportivo.
According to the report Everton have contacted Barcelona about the availability of the La Masia graduate, but Luis Enrique is refusing to let him leave.
The Goodison Park hierarchy have contacted the Catalonian giants on more than one occasion, but their approaches have been rejected.
Munir, who is of Spanish-Moroccan descent, has a contract at the Nou Camp that expires in 2017 and a reported buy-out clause of 35million euros.

While Barca boss Enrique has been staunch in his refusal to sell to the 20-year-old, his view may change in January when the club’s transfer ban is lifted and summer signings Arda Turan and Aleix Vidal become available.
If Munir was to arrive in England he would be the third Barcelona youngster to arrive in the Premier League this season, after Gerard Deulofeu, who rejoined Everton for £4million, and Adama Traore, who signed for Aston Villa for around £7million.
