Marcel Halstenberg made his full debut for the German national team on Friday night against England and Everton were reportedly keeping a close eye on him.
According to a report from the Daily Mail, the Toffees sent representatives to monitor Halstenberg as he made his international bow at senior level.
Halstenberg has been a consistently impressive performer for RB Leipzig this season and has helped the Bundesliga outfit to 2nd place in the German top flight with 11 games having been played.

Everton were reportedly joined by a whole host of Premier League clubs in attendance at Wembley, as Halstenberg was scouted.
The Toffees appear to be lacking depth on the left-hand side of defence, and with Leighton Baines not getting any younger, securing the services of a left-back could be a wise move in the near future.
Halstenberg will look to continue his form with Leipzig in order to secure a place in Joachim Low’s World Cup squad next summer.
