Everton are interested in signing Portuguese starlet Matchoi Bobo Djalo in January, according to reports.
The 16-year old winger is regarded as one of the brightest young talents to come out of Portugal in recent years, having burst onto the scene with Pacos de Ferreira this season.
Italian giants Juventus and Premier League strugglers Southampton have earmarked the youngster as they track his progress, and according to Football Insider, the Toffees are interested too.

The Primeira Liga outfit are reportedly aware of the interest in their young star, who became the youngest player to ever play in the division this season, and the club are bracing themselves for January offers.
Djalo is a Portugal youth international, and with some labelling him as the best Portuguese talent since Cristiano Ronaldo, Everton are sure to keep their eyes peeled over the growing situation.

With the reputation that Djalo has built in just a few appearances for Pacos de Ferreira, it would suggest that the ability he has in quite considerable, especially if so many clubs are keen after so little game time.
Marcel Brands’ recruitment has largely been successful and with Everton constantly wanting to stack their youth squad with fresh talent, I’m up for the Blues signing someone billed as the next Portuguese superstar.
It’ll be tough, but it would be great to see Everton pull off a deal.
