Everton want to sign Leicester City’s Jamie Vardy this summer to replace Romelu Lukaku, who is expected to leave Goodison Park.
The Express report that the Everton could look to Vardy, with Steve Walsh, the former Leicester City man heading up a list of transfer targets for the Toffees this summer.
Lukaku is likely to leave Everton during the transfer window after another strong campaign with both Chelsea and Manchester United being linked with moves for the Belgian forward.
Vardy enjoyed a glittering campaign during the season that Leicester lifted the Premier League trophy, but scored just 13 times for the Foxes this season, who limped to a 12th place finish in the Premier League.
At the age of 30, this summer could be the final chance for Vardy to move on to what he could consider ‘a big move’ after turning down the chance to join Arsenal last summer and sign a new deal at the King Power.
