Just. One. More.
Everton’s most recent game against Southampton was painful, so let’s hope we can end the season on a high note.
West Ham drew 0-0 against Manchester United on Thursday with Adrian putting in a fine display in goal, but other than that, the Hammers don’t have a lot to offer in this fixture.
That isn’t meant as a slight towards the London Stadium outfit (maybe it is slightly) because Everton are just as disappointing. Still, plenty of changes are expected this summer, from personnel to the boardroom, to hopefully the managerial position, so this will bring us closer to that which can only be positive.
For the final game which is near enough without stakes, I’d love to see a real change up in the line-up, purely as an experiment. Bare that in mind while you read through – I know it’s not conventional.
As this is the last ‘My XI’ of the season until we go through this all over again in August, I’d just like to thank any and all who have supported us this season, through reading the thoughts of the writers and myself, and engaging as well as you always do.
Much love, Cuff x
