Watford’s biggest game of the season by far – a cup final at Goodison Park.
A faux, unrequited rivalry has been the tale of the tape of the last few years between Watford and Everton, with the London (sort of) club being unable to wrap their head around why Richarlison and Marco Silva would leave the paradise that is Vicarage Road for Everton, all the while signing Tom Cleverley for British Pound Sterling.
But in all seriousness, these are the kind of games that we simply must be winning if our top six aspirations are to come to fruition. It’s also a game where we need to begin to utilise our summer recruits, as the XI from last season cannot compete to those aspirational standards.
But above who will start and who wont start, the most important thing is that we’re back at Goodison. It’s been a few months and we need to start the season as we ended the last one.
