I just want the game to be over so I can get back home to watch the Masters. I am absolutely numb to this game, if I had the choice I probably wouldn’t go.
But I’m an Everton fan, and you don’t just ‘not go’ the game.
So now that’s out the way, I can preview what’s going to happen, but I’m not sure many of you are going to want to carry on. Liverpool will probably rest a few players for their return tie at City the following week, and we’ll put out a fair few defenders to say the least. It’s not going to be pretty, and like I was discussing with a mate a few days ago, if we don’t win this derby, we’ll have gone through the entirety of secondary school without having won a derby, and will have missed out on being able to come in on the following Monday, gloating. Seven years.
It’s best if I stop now, isn’t it.
On a personal note, this is my last piece of the season, what with exams coming up soon, I’ll be taking an early leave. I don’t know how you’ll all cope.
But seriously, thanks for the support for both Read Everton and me personally, and I’ll be back and even more negative next season.
See you soon.
