Everton have once again been linked with a move for Brazilian playmaker Anderson Talisca today, according to reports in Portugal.
The 24-year attacking midfielder has been on loan with Besiktas in the Turkish Super Lig this season and has been hugely impressive, and looks likely to spend next season elsewhere.
On loan from Benfica, Besiktas have first refusal on Talisca with an option of around £21million in their loan agreement, and reports have previously suggested that the Turkish outfit may look to sign him only to sell him on for a profit.
Portuguese outlet A Bola even reported in March that Everton could sanction a Turkey return for Cenk Tosun, who would be swapped for Talisca should Besiktas make his move permanent. However, two months is a long time in football, and it looks very unlikely Tosun will be moving anywhere this summer.

Instead, Everton could chase Talisca independently. Should Besiktas pass up the opportunity to sign the Brazilian, Benfica are likely to sell, with Roma and Everton high on the list of clubs who hold significant interest.
That’s according to Portuguese source Record, as reported by Sport Witness, who claim that both the Toffees and the Giallorossi are keen on Talisca’s signature.
Record also report that Talisca would favour a move to the Italian capital, due to Roma boasting Champions League football over Everton’s lack of continental competition.
With Marcel Brands looking to reinvest heavily in the Everton squad this summer, this is just one of many rumours to come. Strap in, lads.
