Reported Everton target Andriy Yarmolenko has signed a new deal at Dynamo Kiev, but has admitted that he could still leave the club in the summer, as reported by talkSPORT.
The Ukranian forward was heavily linked with a move to Goodison Park in the summer, although any move could now be scuppered as a larger fee will be required due to both the new deal and clubs like Arsenal, Barcelona and Chelsea apparently being interested in signing him
Yarmolenko’s contract with Kiev was set to expire in June, meaning he could have begun talking to club’s in January with a view to leaving for free in the summer.

However, by signing a new deal that runs until 2020, his value is protected and his current club will need to be suitably compensated if another side want to sign him.
Speaking to the official Dynamo Kiev website, Yarmolenko admitted that he would like to move to one of Europe’s elite leagues, but wanted to ensure Kiev got a big fee for him when he leaves:
I still want to [test myself in the best leagues]. I know that if Dynamo get really worthy offers, we’ll find an option that satisfies everyone. I want the club to get good compensation for me. I could have left for free in a while, but that would have been wrong. I am 100% a Dynamo player. Our team is like my second family. That’s why I keep doing my best to benefit the club
UPDATE: Andriy Yarmolenko’s agent has weighed in on the situation, according to the Liverpool Echo.
Vadim Shabily, who was pictured at Goodison Park a couple of weeks ago, said talks took place over the potential purchase of Yarmolenko but is unsure if Everton will pursue their interest:
I talked to Roberto Martinez. He’s a great man,
I do not know whether they have retained interest, because only today we announced a contract extension
At Everton, too, life goes on, who knows what will happen tomorrow.
In general it is a good club, good team, I liked it very much.
Shabily also stated that Yarmolenko still harbours interest of playing abroad, with the Premier League being his top priority.
