Reported Everton target Stefan De Vrij is set to reject a move to Goodison in favour of a move to Inter Milan, according to Lazio’s sporting director.
As per Football Italia, the Dutch centre back looks like to leave the Italian capital in favour to a move to the San Siro. Lazio director Igil Tare was quoted as saying that the centre back is very likely to make the move north.
Tare told Italian TV channel SportItalia that:
“I hope that De Vrij can give his best for Lazio to the end, as he has done so far. Let’s just say there’s a very good possibility he could go to Inter.”
De Vrij is a free agent in the Summer, so will be free to leave Lazio on a free transfer.
There has been numerous interest from across Europe for the defender. Liverpool, Arsenal and Everton have all taken a look at the defender, with Inter now looking likely to be the favourite to sign the Dutchman.
