Everton will look to sign former Stoke midfielder Steven N’Zonzi in the January window, according to Neil Moxley in the Sunday People, as cited by the Mirror.
The Frenchman currently plays for Sevilla and was part of the team that beat Liverpool in the final of the Europa League last season.
Everton’s head of recruitment Steve Walsh is said to rate the midfielder highly and in fact tried to sign him for Leicester before he made the switch to Goodison Park.

Now, with the club’s new found financial power, Walsh will look to sign N’Zonzi who is likely to command a fee close to €30million.
Sevilla are set to offer the midfielder a new contract with director of football Monchi said to be making that one of his top priorities before the January transfer window opens across Europe.
The Toffees failed with a move for Moussa Sissoko in the summer and with the Frenchman signing for Tottenham shortly after, it looks likely that N’Zonzi is the alternative to that deal.
Other reported midfield targets in the summer also included William Carvalho and Axel Witsel.
