Former Chelsea midfielder John Obi Mikel has dismissed reports linking him with a return to the Premier League with Everton and has revealed that he plans to continue to play in China with Tianjin Teda, as quoted on UK Reuters.
The Nigerian midfielder was reportedly being watched by Everton boss Sam Allardyce as he looks to strengthen his squad in the January transfer window.

The 30-year-old has suffered from various injuries since moving to the Chinese Super League but insists that he will not be leaving.
I don’t know where such a rumour came from, but this story is untrue. I want to stay in the Chinese Super League and play for Teda. I‘m sure there will be lots of speculation about me as the transfer window nears but this is a false rumour.
Everton boss Allardyce has led the club out of relegation trouble with some good results and his side will take on Swansea City at Goodison Park tonight.
The English manager wants to make some additions to his squad in January as he looks to improve all areas of the team.
The Toffees are currently in 10th place in the league table but a win tonight could see them move into 9th place.
