Everton are in talks with Nottingham Forest as they are looking to sign teenage midfielder Brennan Johnson, as per a report from John Percy of the Telegraph.
The Blues have reportedly had a few bids rejected by Forest for the 15-year-old but that had not deterred them and talks are still ongoing.

Everton are keen to sign the England under-16 international but as it stands, Forest are holding firm and are only willing to let him leave if the Toffees stump up £1million, which seems absurd for a 15-year-old kid.
However, a deal could still take place without Forest’s consent but that would mean a tribunal would set a fee and that is probably a process that all parties involved would wish to do without.
Director of Football Steve Walsh has put an emphasis on securing the best young talent at Everton and he is now expected to take over the negotiations with Forest.
