Everton are one of many clubs that have been alerted to the availability of Inter Milan’s Ever Banega and are said to be looking to strike a deal, according to the Daily Mirror.
The Argentine has been mooted as a transfer target for Everton at several points in his career but the Toffees are looking to finally land their man after Inter reportedly put the playmaker in the shop window.

Everton are said to have opened talks with the players representatives and will be hoping to beat a host of European clubs to his signature just in time for the January transfer window.
Banega has won 51 caps for Argentina and has a contract at Inter until June 2019 but will be available for a measly £8million.
The former Valencia star has played for a host of clubs across Europe such Atletico Madrid, Sevilla, Boca Juniors and Inter.
Everton’s woes this season have not been helped by their lack of creativity in the final third, with Romelu Lukaku being starved of chances and restoring to dropping deeper out of frustration.
Ross Barkley is failing to provide Everton with the spark they need while wingers Kevin Mirallas, Gerard Deulofeu and Aaron Lennon are not exactly setting the world alight. With Yannick Bolasie set to be out for at least a year, there is no doubt that the Blues must strengthen their attack.
