According to the Evening Standard, Ronald Koeman is interested in bringing Southampton forward Charlie Austin to Goodison Park this summer.
The report says that Rangers are also keen on signing Austin on loan, but Austin is unwilling to leave the Premier League. Southampton would also be unlikely to let him leave on a loan deal.
Ronald Koeman, Everton boss, is looking to bring Austin to Everton just eight months after signing him for Southampton. Koeman signed Austin for Southampton from QPR for £4m in January and now wants him at Everton.

Austin only started two games last season at Southampton due to injury, but many are tipping him for a big season on the South Coast this term. He started on the bench against Watford but is expected to start against Manchester United this Friday.
The report says that Koeman still believes he is a top centre forward and wants him to potentially replace Romelu Lukaku at Everton if the Belgian were to leave the club.
