Everton have seen a bid to sign Spanish striker Borja Iglesias from Espanyol rejected.
According to reports in Spain from Marca, Everton have put forward an offer to sign the player this month, but unfortunately for Marco Silva, the player is not so keen on a move to Goodison Park.
The report claims that the player has a release clause of €28 million, which Everton were ready to pay in full in order to bring him to the Premier League during the January window.

Iglesias has been impressing in La Liga, with nine goals in 17 starts, but he is looking to wait until the summer before deciding on a possible move away from Espanyol.
Everton are desperately searching for a new striker, with Silva looking to find the missing piece to his puzzle.
After spending big over the summer, the one thing the Toffees really lack is an out-and-out striker to provide a consistent goal threat.
