Everton scout Carlo Jacomuzzi has broken his silence on the club’s pursuit of Napoli duo Allan and Hirving Lozano.
Recent reports have seen the Toffees linked with both of the Napoli duo, with Allan said to have been the subject of a recent £17million bid, while Lozano has also emerged as a legitimate summer target.
Either of the players could be set to reunite with Carlo Ancelotti in the summer, having played under the Italian during his managerial spell at the San Paolo, with Ancelotti expected to work on strengthening his squad ahead of next season.
However, Jacomuzzi wasn’t able to shed any light on potential incomings at Goodison Park, instead referring those questions to the manager himself.
Talking to Calcio Napoli 24 TV, translated by Sport Witness, Jacomuzzi said:
Lozano and Allan at Everton? I don’t know, you have to ask the manager.
It will be Ancelotti with the director to plan the next market; we work to bring news about the players.
I have nothing to teach these gentlemen; they know how to work in the market.

Jacomuzzi’s response is very diplomatic, as he is unlikely to reveal Ancelotti’s transfer plans ahead of the summer window opening.
Lozano is a player who could represent shrewd business in the summer, with both Ancelotti and Marcel Brands having history with the Mexican winger, while Allan could likely fill the engine man role that the Italian coach could look to target.
In my view, Allan is likely to prove too costly at his age, with Napoli said to be looking for double Everton’s £17million offer for the 29-year old.
However, I like the sound of Lozano, who at the age of 22, still has a big future ahead of him in my opinion.
It remains to be seen whether Everton indeed want either of the players, but it wouldn’t be overly surprising.
