Everton have reportedly stepped up their pursuit of Barcelona defender Yerry Mina with a bid worth in excess of €30 million.
Mina was a standout performer for Colombia and is likely to leave Barcelona this summer, with the La Liga champions looking to cash in on their young defender.
It has been reported for several days now that Everton have expressed an interest in signing Mina from Barcelona. However, fresh claims from Spanish news outlet Sport indicate that they have already made a substantial bid.

The report claims that Everton, along with Leicester City and West Ham, have made an offer worth ‘above €30 million’ for the ex-Palmeiras star, who is set to be hot property this summer.
Everton are believed to be on the lookout for a new central defender ahead of next season following the departure of Ramiro Funes Mori to Villarreal earlier this summer.
The Toffees are also being linked with a move for Mina’s Barcelona teammate Lucas Digne.
