Everton have not had much luck in their pursuit of a new manager in the last month.
A number of candidates have been considered and pursued by the Toffees’ hierarchy since Ronald Koeman was fired but they remain without a permanent manager. David Unsworth has been deputising as the caretaker manager.
Everton appeared to have identified Burnley manager Sean Dyche and Watford boss Marco Silva as their two main targets. However, it looks as though no move will materialise for either of these two bosses.

It’s claimed now, though, by the Daily Mail that Everton are pondering a move to make RB Leipzig sporting director Ralf Rangnick their new manager.
The experienced German was reportedly considered for the Toffees job back in 2013 but was pipped to the role by Roberto Martinez. It seems Everton’s interest has remained, though, and Farhad Moshiri is considering the former Schalke manager.
Rangnick, 58, was also an option for the England national team following Roy Hodgson’s resignation.
