Everton’s season officially gets underway this evening as they welcome Slovakian side MFK Ruzomberok to Goodison Park for their Europa League third qualifying round first-leg tie.
Ruzomberok, who finished third in the Slovakian top flight last season have already knocked out Serbian side FK Vojvodina and Norway’s SK Brann in the competition and will be hoping toupee off a major upset against the Blues.
With plenty of new faces at Goodison Park, there is a lot of excitement about the team that Ronald Koeman selects for the game.
Jordan Pickford, Michael Keane, Davy Klaassen, Cuco Martina and Wayne Rooney are all in contention to play alongside some of the players who performed well last season.
