A goal from Theo Walcott was enough to give Everton a 1-0 win over Newcastle at Goodison Park on Monday night.
The rather forgettable game, which won’t make many highlight reels in years to come, was decided when the England winger showed great composure in the box to control the ball before smashing it home.
The win takes Everton to eighth place in the Premier League table, albeit having played a game more than ninth placed Leicester.
