This news will be music to the ears of Celtic fans who were desperate to hold on to their young prodigy.
The 21-year-old has been a supporter of the club for his whole life and joined Celtic at the age of just seven.
According to earlier reports, it had seemed a £25 million switch down south was becoming more and more likely but whilst no move was fully agreed, it all now seems dead in the water.
Tierney featured yesterday for Celtic in the 7-0 hammering of Shamrock Rovers and will be a crucial player when the Champions League Qualifiers kick off next week.
