James Scott is the latest Motherwell starlet to take the interest of Premier League clubs, with Everton one of the parties to have monitored the young winger.
The 19-year old has emerged at Fir Park as the latest young starlet to earn significant recognition, with a host of clubs keen on monitoring his progress in the Scottish Premiership.

Scott follows teammate David Turnbull in breaking onto the scene in North Lanarkshire, with the 20-year old midfielder heavily linked with Celtic and Norwich in the summer, only for transfers failing to materialise.
Scott, who can plays as both a winger and a striker, has also interested a host of clubs outside of the Premier League. According to TEAMtalk, Scott is being scouted by Bournemouth, Southampton, Sheffield United, Bristol City, Barnsley and Sunderland, as well as Everton.
Would the young forward be a good signing for Everton?

James Scott is someone who is held in high regard at Motherwell, and as a young and dynamic forward he could be a wise signing in the long-term.
While he isn’t the most capable as a striker, with his hold up play not as good as that of DCL or Moise Kean, he does look to be a real threat from wide areas, being quick and direct in his play.
I’m still a bitter at Everton having lost Ademola Lookman this summer, and Scott could be someone in the same mould; a young British starlet willing to work hard to compete and improve, with potential to grow and become an important player for the Blues.
