Everton are set for an interesting transfer market ahead of them this summer.
The Toffees have seen the appointment of Rafa Benitez as manager over the last week, meaning they can start preparations for next season.
With that comes the task of players coming and going from the club as Benitez looks to rebuild.
One player that has been extensively linked with a move away from the Toffees is Italian striker Moise Kean.
The 21-year-old spent last season on loan at French giants PSG, enjoying a successful campaign.
However, with PSG wanting to bring Kean back on loan, it appears as though Everton aren’t so keen.
According to Sky Sports journalist Ben Grounds, Everton aren’t looking to send him out on loan again…
The Toffees are starting pre-season preparations, with Kean fully involved in the staggered process.
As Grounds states, Kean will remain an Everton player unless a permanent offer is made for the striker.
This of course means PSG will have to stump up the cash if they hope to keep Kean on their roster.
The Toffees have valued the Italian at €50million, leaving PSG’s hopes of securing the forward with only one solution.
Everton are making their stance firm, which is understandable given PSG’s financial power.
If they aren’t willing to pay the required fee for Kean, then the Toffees have every right to refuse another loan deal.
The youngster is a talented player and has a bright future ahead of him.
Hopefully, that future will be at Everton, with Benitez likely to make him as part of his plans for next season.
