Everton have made an ambitious move for Germany international Julian Draxler, according to the Independent.
Ronald Koeman is looking to make a statement of intent during the summer transfer window with names such as Axel Witsel, William Carvalho and Juan Mata linked to the club. Now, it seems as though the Dutchman has turned his attentions to Arsenal target Draxler.

The former FC Schalke midfielder is looking to leave Wolfsburg, and has made his desire known to the club. Unfortunately for the player, the club are insisting that Draxler will not leave the club but that has not deterred Everton from trying their luck.
Speaking after Wayne Rooney’s testimonial, Ronald Koeman explained that he is looking to get players in ‘as soon as possible’ but would not mention any names out of respect for their clubs.
With only 10 days left until the season opener against Spurs at Goodison, the Dutchman will be hoping to make moves in the market throughout the next week.
