According to Belgium paper Sport/Foot, via Sport Witness, Everton have made a €25m offer for Anderlecht midfielder Youri Tielemans.
The report claims that Everton have placed a €25m bid down for the midfielder, but it is Ligue 1 side Monaco who are the favourites.
Monaco are currently leading the chase for the talented youngster and are keen on bringing him in this summer, with the side about to win the French title.
Tielemans has been attracting interest over the course of the season with his superb form for Anderlecht, especially in European competitions.
The 19-year-old has scored three goals in the Europa League this season and is quickly becoming one of the hottest properties on the market.
Despite the report claiming Monaco are the favourites, it has not ruled Everton out of the running – who have made their intentions clear with their €25m bid.
It is also not stated whether that will be enough to prize Tielemans away from Belgium.
