Transfer market expert Fabrizio Romano has delivered a promising update to Everton fans, indicating the club is holding out for a gargantuan windfall on the potential sale of Moise Kean.
The renowned Italian journalist, who boasts more than 2.4 million Twitter followers off the back of a reputation for a reliable base of contacts, issued an update on the future of the 20-year-old striker.
Loaned out to French giants Paris Saint-Germain to boost his value and rediscover his form, he was among the goals as they embarrassed ex-Toffees manager Ronald Koeman in a 4-1 pant-pulling episode against Barcelona in midweek.
The goal took Kean’s PSG tally to 14 in all competitions this season, and there have been repeated suggestions that the Ligue 1 champions will look to make the 20-year-old’s stay at the Parc des Princes a permanent one. Achieving such figures in just 25 games, it is hardly unfathomable as to why the loanee is attracting interest.
Speaking to his Patreon followers of his Here We Go podcast, Romano issued the major indication that Everton are holding out for a major profit [via Sportslens]. He said:
I’m 100 percent sure that Everton will fight for Kean, or receive €60 or €70 million or keep the player.
Ancelotti is a big fan of Moise Kean. In my opinion, they are planning for him as the star for next season.

Scoring just two goals in 29 league outings for Everton is a paltry return for Kean, though maybe he simply was not ready for the Premier League last season.
He seems settled and prolific at PSG as he recaptures the form which made him such a coveted figure in the first place.
Attracting such a hefty fee, as claimed by Romano, is improbable given that previous reports have evidenced a fee of closer to £31m – but that was before his rapid rise to form. The changing context may equally alter the framework of negotiations.
