Everton are interested in a deal for Villarreal winger Denis Cheryshev this summer, according to claims from Spanish news outlet Marca.
The Toffees are keen to add quality to their wide options this summer and have already made efforts to do so following the addition of Richarlison from Watford for £50 million.
Everton have only made one signing so far ahead of the upcoming season but are expecting to confirm the arrival of Lucas Digne from Barcelona in the immediate future.

It seems they are actively working on other transfer targets, though, with Cheryshev understood by Marca to be among those who the Toffees have expressed an interest in.
The 27-year-old was a standout performer at this summer’s World Cup and was certainly one of Russia’s stars as they reached the quarter-final stage of the competition.
In five games, the former Real Madrid winger managed to find the net on four occasions. This left him level with the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo and Kylian Mbappe in the Golden Boot standings.
