Everton are considering a move for Bordeaux striker Diego Rolan, according to reports.
The 22-year-old, who is comfortable playing as both a striker and a wide forward, has scored just one goal in his 17 games for the French side this season, but he did score 16 times in 38 games last year.
Rolan made his international debut for Uruguay in September 2014 and has gone on to score three goals in his 17 appearances for his country.
Everton’s strikers Arouna Kone and Romelu Lukaku have been in fine form this season while Steven Naismith is a more than capable third option, as proved by his hat-trick earlier in the year.

However, the future of the 29-year-old Scottish international is still up in the air. He admitted that he considered leaving in the summer due to a lack of playing time, and he could well push for a January.
Rolan would cost roughly £10million, and would provide Roberto Martinez with yet another weapon to his attacking arsenal.
