Everton are interested in signing Burnley midfielder Steven Defour in the summer transfer window, according to reports in Belgium.
According to news outlet Nieuwsblad, Everton are set to battle it out with West Ham for the midfielder as they look to bulk their midfield.
Defour has been impressing in the heart of Burnley’s midfield this season as they look to finish seventh in the Premier League, above Everton.

Sam Allardyce will be hoping he can call upon the Belgian to improve his side, if they can beat West Ham in the race for his signature.
The Belgian signed for Burnley at the start of last season and has been a consistent performer.
His current contract with Burnley expires at the end of next season, which could tempt the Clarets to cash in if Everton or West Ham come in with an offer.
Arsenal’s Jack Wilshere is also thought to be under consideration by Everton.
