Everton are interested in signing FC Porto striker Vincent Aboubakar, according to a report from Wales Online.
It’s claimed that the Toffees want to rival Swansea City in their pursuit of the Cameroon international, who has been in fine form out in Portugal so far this season.
Aboubakar has stepped up to the mark in Liga NOS and has been leading the line in expert fashion for Porto.

The 25-year-old has been free scoring in front of goal and has netted on 18 occasions in all competitions this term. His form has helped Porto top the Portuguese league and also qualify for the Champions League round of 16, where they will face a two-legged clash against Liverpool.
Aboubakar is held in high esteem at Porto and, as Wales Online reports, has a release clause worth in the region of £50m in his existing deal.
Everton are in desperate need of a striker with them having failed to replace Romelu Lukaku in the summer. It looks as though Sam Allardyce is eyeing Aboubakar as an ideal replacement.
