Everton are reportedly interested in Stoke City’s Badou Ndiaye – but would the Senegalese midfielder be a smart signing?
According to Turkish outlet Fanatik, cited by Sports Witness, the Toffees are keen on a move for the 28-year-old, who spent the previous season on loan with Galatasaray.

The Turkish giants are thought to be interested in bringing the player back this summer, with Ligue 1 outfit Lille also keen on the Senegal international.
Ndiaye could well play alongside fellow countryman Idrissa Gueye if a move is completed, however, the midfielder could be seen as a replacement for Gueye, who is expected to be of interest to Paris Saint-Germain once more this summer.
The pair have similar qualities, so if Gueye does depart, a move for Ndiaye would be a sensible one.
Ndiaye has previous Premier League experience with the Potters and has similar qualities to Gueye, with the pair both known for their energetic play and tough-tackling approach.
The midfielder is currently under contract at Stoke until 2022, so the Toffees may well have to place a hefty bid to tempt the Potters into selling the experienced international.
