Everton boss Marco Silva has expressed a keen interest in signing Watford attacker Richarlison, according to The Times
The Brazilian played under Marco Silva last season during his run as Watford boss. Last season, Richarlison made 38 appearances, scoring five goals and assisting four during his first season in the Premier League.
Everton’s Silva saw a lot in Richarlison as a player and is keen to continue mentoring the 21-year-old next season as he plots to bring him to Goodison Park.
Richarlison is a very versatile forward who can play through the middle or on either wing. It is believed Everton have also expressed an interest in England international Danny Welbeck, who is currently undergoing the final year of his contract at the Emirates.

Whilst no offer has been made by the Toffees for either Welbeck or Richarlison, it seems an approach could be made for one over the next week as the club is currently believed to still be deciding and are leaving their options open.
Richarlison has also attracted interest from Tottenham Hotspur and it has been reported Newcastle have enquired about the player’s availability a few weeks back.
With no approach made as of this time, it seems likely the young forward will be back at Vicarage Road for the upcoming season. But all that is dependent on whether Silva makes an approach over the remaining few weeks of the transfer window.
