Everton are reportedly interested in signing young future prospect goalkeeper Joe Walsh from Gillingham, according to Football League World.
The 17-year-old has shown his quality to manager Steve Evans in the last few months, where he has earned three first team appearances – all being in the EFL Trophy.
This has supposedly caught the eye of many suitors. Everton, Celtic and two German clubs are all said to be heavily impressed with the youngsters progress and are looking to make a move for the player in January.

Everton should go all out for Walsh and make sure they are the side which earns his signature.
Being such a young age of 17, there is just no telling for sure how far he can go in the game. To be playing in the first-team and having that experience will only improve his confidence against senior opposition.
The fact that Jordan Pickford who is currently the number one for the senior national side will also be a great opportunity for young Walsh. The chance to train and potentially be mentored by him could enhance his development very significantly and hopefully improve his ability overall.
With other clubs interested, Everton should act fast and make a deal with Gillingham as he could prove to be a brilliant investment for the future. Hopefully by the end of the January transfer window, we will see Walsh at Goodison Park.
