According to journalist Gianluca Di Marzio, Everton and Stoke City are interested in signing Spanish winger Cristian Tello.
The winger spent the end of last season on loan at Fiorentina and although the Italian side are eager to keep him, the two Premier League clubs are said to be leading the chase for his signature.
When Tello first joined Barcelona he started frequently but the first-team opportunities dried up and he has been on loan for the last two seasons at both Porto and Fiorentina.
The 24-year-old got two goals and four assists in 15 games for the Florence based side last year and they are reportedly planning another loan deal for the youngster with an option to permenantly secure his signing at the end of the season for £4.75 million. However, with the interest from the Premier League, it looks as if they might have their work cut out to get their man.
Everton are reportedly poised to announce the signing of new manager Ronald Koeman from Southampton and it’s likely that any transfer bids will be on hold until he is officially announced as the new man in charge at Goodison Park.
