Everton have a €15 million deal agreed with Werder Bremen for the transfer of Davy Klaassen, according to Deich Stube and translated by Sport Witness.
The Dutchman joined the Merseysiders from Ajax last summer, but comprehensively failed to make an impact in his first season at Goodison Park.

Making just seven appearances in the Premier League (and only three of those starts), it will come as little surprise to most Everton fans that Klaassen’s departure is a topic of interest so soon after his arrival.
With Deich Stube reporting that a deal is in place for the switch, it will supposedly be Klaassen’s decision if he wants to bail out after one year in England, or stay and try to resurrect his Toffees career.
The transfer would mean a net loss of around £10 million, and would go some way to extinguishing the lingering odour of the poor recruitment that accompanied Ronald Koeman’s stay in the Goodison Park dugout.
It appears that Klaassen is unlikely to feature in the plans of new boss Marco Silva, and a move may give him the best chance of returning to what had been a promising career.
