Everton fans respond to Sherwood’s Fraser suggestion

Several Everton fans have responded to the story that Tim Sherwood believes Bournemouth’s Ryan Fraser should move to Everton.

Sherwood claimed yesterday that Fraser deserves to leave Bournemouth to make the next step in his career, and that joining a club “like a Leicester or an Everton” would be a good move for the Scotland international.

Although Everton are currently well stocked with wide options, the 25-year old will be out of contract next summer and could be available for a cut-price in January, or even for free next summer.

It remains to be seen whether Fraser would be able to force his way into the starting line-up at Goodison Park, but he could prove to be a solid squad addition if Everton are to qualify for the Europa League ahead of next season.

Taking to Twitter, a number of Evertons fans voiced their opinion on whether Fraser would be a good signing for the Toffees.

@Richlloyd1984 said: “He wouldn’t get in the team”.

@BlueFozzie45 claimed: “David Brooks is the only player I would have off Bournemouth.”

@teadrinker68 said: “I don’t know much about Ryan Fraser but, if Tim Sherwood is saying we should sign him, then I hope we steer well clear.”

@ElliotB1878 wasn’t keen either, saying: “No,already have good wingers and the lads only had one really good season”.

Other fans were more keen on bringing the forward to Merseyside.

@neils_1970 said: “Yes, an asset to the type of play we want. Always liked him

@leedevenny said: “Yes great player”.

@CamMurray78 took a different approach, saying: “I’d wait till the summer and get him on a free.”

Finally, @seancollins14 said: It’s a yes from me great player and if he was to hit the right type of form could cause some sides serious damage, my thoughts are that he’s going to end up at Arsenal though”.
